Electroneum’s new freelance platform AnyTask goes global with soft launch following weeks of great success

Following several weeks of highly successful internal and external beta testing, Electroneum is excited to announce the global soft launch of AnyTask.

“We now have over 80,000 sign-ups to our blockchain-powered freelance platform with hundreds and hundreds of sellers creating tasks,” explains Electroneum CEO and Founder Richard Ells. “Currently, there are over 700 live tasks, and nearly 100 have been purchased from buyers before we’ve even started running ads.”
“The freelance platform is still at its very early stages and the marketing campaign to attract buyers starts in March. We should see these numbers increase significantly,” Ells adds.

AnyTask provides people around the world the opportunity to sell their skills online and earn Electroneum (ETN). Unlike all other freelance platforms, AnyTask does not require the seller to have a bank account and allows them to keep 100% of their profit.

The ETN earned is held in the anytaskers’ Electroneum wallet and can be spent in any location that accepts it, on mobile phone top-ups, or simply exchanged into a local fiat currency or swap for another cryptocurrency.

“AnyTask gives you access to thousands of buyers from around the world,” adds Ells. “Our revolutionary approach provides buyers with a socially responsible way to hire freelancers that also costs less than other leading freelance platforms.”

Electroneum’s freelance platform works similarly to any other of its kind. Buyers can purchase tasks using their credit or debit card and are charged a 5% administrative fee on all their purchases. Sellers receive their payment in ETN. That means anyone can sell on AnyTask, whether they have a bank account or not.

Sellers can post tasks on AnyTask similar to those on other current leading freelancer websites. That includes anything from graphic design and video editing to video messages and arts and crafts.

Payments on AnyTask are 100% secure. Electroneum processes them, and a partner converts it to ETN, making the entire process simple for both the buyer and seller. Electroneum will provide 24-hour support and an efficient dispute system.

Should anything go wrong with an order, the support team will help you along the way. Payments are fully protected by Electroneum and available for refund at any time before the final transaction approval.

With AnyTask and the upcoming free online educational platform TaskSchool, Electroneum is once again setting a new standard in creating real utility for cryptocurrency as a path to adoption.

About AnyTask

Buy or sell digital tasks

Today’s leading freelancer platforms have made tremendous leaps forward in providing people with the ability to earn a living online, whilst doing the tasks they love. Anything from making quick videos with your smartphone to logo design and translation services are sold online today, providing individuals and businesses with a cost-effective way of getting jobs done. You can get started as a seller with just a simple internet enabled smartphone.

Sell without a bank account

However, these platforms have a major restriction, in that both buyer and seller require access to a bank account. This single restriction is stopping hundreds of millions of people in unbanked regions from selling their services online, and in turn, helping them to make a better living for themselves, and their families. AnyTask is a new online marketplace, currently in BETA, that is designed to overcome this very limitation. While payment is still taken from the buyer’s credit or debit card, it is delivered seamlessly to the seller in Electroneum (ETN); a world leading mobile cryptocurrency. In turn, this enables the seller to receive payment without the need of a bank account. The ETN earned can be spent in a growing list of ways, such as topping up your phone, or converting into your local currency via an exchange or enterprising agent.

Zero seller fees

Furthermore, where other platforms charge sellers up to 20% in fees, AnyTask is entirely free to the seller. Launched currently in BETA, AnyTask is still undergoing final stages of development.
